I am early for everything, but this time everyone else was late. This gave me a little more time than usual to take in my surroundings, and more importantly - happy hour bargains. Barramundi Bar has some great offers for those of you who just *need* that after work drink. Or two. Or three. .........

Pair cheap drinks with awesome staff and an eclectic and warm environment? I'm sold. The bartender (Miki) was incredibly friendly. As the crowd grew larger she wasn't fazed (Which is impressive, as I think Yelpers are pretty intimidating in their drinking habits) in the slightest. The bar is decorated with mardi gras beads galore...... I think that Barramundi, even after just one visit, has become one of my favorite bars on the lower east side. It definitely lacks the pretension and hype of many other establishments in the vicinity. Which is, for lack of a better word, AWESOME!

Awesome, awesome, awesome Bar! Barramundi is a great spot in the LES. Me and my friends come here for Happy Hour often, every time we come its a great experience. The booths are very cool to hang in. Come and enjoy the experience of Barramundi!

The perfect atmosphere. It seems to have just enough people to make things interesting, but not too many douchebags. There are 2 different kinds of Sangria- the white one is wonderful! Love this place.

There's always a party at Barramundi- This is one of the few remaining  funky, fun bars on the lower east side with red leather booths, tree trunk tables, and exposed brick walls.

Barramundi has to be the only one of the bars on the lower east side that actually has 99 bottles of beer on the wall. The bartenders make their own infused vodkas to match the seasons on the Lower East Side.

Barramundi is the best place to throw a birthday party for over 21s in New York City. If you bring your birthday group on a Sun, Mon, Tues or Wed, and you arrive before 8pm,  we'll extend Happy Hour specials until 11pm! Be sure to call us well in advance.  You must let us know you're coming  as this offer is only valid for pre-arranged groups.

With one of the best Happy Hour Specials in New York and the Lower East Side , Barramundi is great for after work gatherings or those intellectual musings that go on into the wee hours of the morning.
